For Tami Demaree's third solo show at Steven Wolf Fine Arts, the California-based multi-media artist drew inspiration from the Philadelphia Experiment—an alleged event during World War II, in which the US Military is said to have rendered a Navy destroyer invisible using a cloaking device that involved the bending of light—to explore the role of myth in the representation of visual reality. Demaree received her MFA from Otis College of Art and Design and has exhibited work in Paris, Berlin, Prague and Vienna.
