Tami Demaree  Artwork
Born 1978, Huntington Beach, CA.
Mixed media artist working in Los Angeles whose painting and sculpture are distinguished by ham-fisted puns and a sensibility perfectly calibrated to both honor and satirize the overwrought musings of an American girl.
Demaree's installations are crafty and cluttered. They form an entertaining if bewildering space in which pop songs and tear jerk movies have invaded and maybe displaced the sanctity of the private emotional world.
